The Nissan dealer used NISSAN's rebates as your downpayment.

if delivery of the automobile was made contigent upon secured financing then you will either need to have the extra money down requested or supply an acceptable co maker. If that is not possible and they cannot get you approved otherwise, you will need to return the vehicle.

Is your prior auto loan on the reports or not? I was unsure from your statement.

I don't have the car, never did.

The dealer said my older car loan is NOT showing on my reports. I actually when with two of my friends who have horrible credit and the got in and out with 0 down in 30 mins. I pulled my report today they sent out request to 10 other unknown banks 1st. Nissan pulled 2 X's today on every report

also the dealer said I am clean except for 1 Medical collection that is 5 years old so I don't quilfy for the 1st time buyer program.

They don't really want to sell you that car, which is fine because you really don't want to buy it (NOT your dream car, must mean NOT even close). Best to call the whole thing off and regroup. If you can get any bad old stuff of your CR and come up with about $1000 real money cash for a downpayment you'll have a much easier time and a better deal.
