It me again....

just got off the phone with myfico; I straight out asked "are these the scores that a lender would see (auto lender) , he stated to me YES!!!!! Now I am more confused that ever. I guess I need to start looking for subprime lenders....know in good ones :?: I am looking to spend no more that 17 or 18,000 with $2,000 down.

Looks like I am in trouble now....

dturner: with scores that low you are likely to be turned down should you pursue financing on your own via any subprime lenders.

If those subprime lenders that you pursue turn your loan request down, and they happen to be some of the same ones we use as a dealer, we usually cannot get the turndown status overridden.

I would suggest you find a midsize reputable dealership and take a copy of your credit reports along with proof of income and proof of residency.

I believe someone will have a lender that will finance you, because not all of them are score driven.

My briefcase has rate sheets from the majority of subprime lenders with the exception of Cap 1.

The Fico person you talked too, misinformed you I fear.

the current Fico Model we use via Experian is:

QUOTE
-------------------------------- SCORE SUMMARY ---------------------------------
EXPERIAN/FICO AUTO MODEL 2 = +512

SCORE FACTORS: 38/20/10/18

So the score I have with EXP (477) is a actual socre then?
Are suggesting that I that to a dealer? Also with regard to the numbers indicated below what do they mean
Oh, would me having items currently under investigation (with EXP) have an effect on the score?

I had also posted this questoin @ the Credit Forum. I had asked since I have a Orchard Bank MC(re-established credit....no late payments!) and my EQ score is a little better should increase after a collection is taken off(hopefully!) should I apply for HH auto financing. I would like you opionon on this I was told yes...what do you think.

Also how much of an effect does a newly placed medical collection have on your score (asking for my sister who is here)

Are suggesting that I that to a dealer?Yes, I would print my reports out and let a qualified finance person have a look. Also with regard to the numbers indicated below what do they mean
You will have to explain what #'s you are referring to as your question is not clear to me.
Oh, would me having items currently under investigation (with EXP) have an effect on the score? I have no idea if a disputed item under investigation is taken out of the scoring model or not.

Also how much of an effect does a newly placed medical collection have on your score (asking for my sister who is here)I believe a recently placed collection item will have a significant derogatory impact on scores
