No, wait for the response (by March17) from Ex.
Is Ex the ONLY CRA still reporting??
Experian responded on February 22nd with this response (from the February 17th letter which was the copy of the FTC complaint with the other paperwork as instructed):
"If you question the results of our investigation, then you may want to contact the data furnisher directly. Please refer to your original personal credit report for the business name, address and phone number (if available) of the source that verified the information."
They have not provided any results of their investigation as yet. Just this one sheet with the above statement. When I pull up an updated Experian report, the paid account is gone and the unpaid one shows a new reporting date.

Equifax stated this on January 22nd (posted above):
Received a response from CSC (equifax) regarding the prehipaa letter.....They say:
"The medical collection account reported to CSC do not meet the definition of "medical information" as the term is defined in Section 603 1 of the FCRA."
Only the unpaid account is showing on Equifax. (only one that ever did show up on Equifax)
It does not indicate that they have validated the debt in anyway. The reporting date on the account was updated to 1/22/2010. We did receive a phone call from the collection agency several weeks ago. Of course, no information was discussed on the phone and all communication was asked for in writing.

Transunion deleted both accounts.
Hope that clarifies things.
I suggest you send the reporting CA for the account showing as having a balance due the medical DV;
Follow the directions and send separate letters to each CA for each CRA they are still reporting to. You can put all letters in one CMRR envelope to each CA.
Once you receive the green card, send each CRA the follow up letter ( this is the reason you need separate letters)
