I was quite happy with both, they were definitely concerned with my financial well being over that of my creditors- their reason for existence isn't to extract payments from you, it's to help you find the solution that's best for you.
They could've just set me up on a DMP and gotten a couple month's payments before the house of cards collapsed entirely- instead they went over my numbers, looked at what the looming medical lawsuits would do to me & my family, and told me to find a good BK att'y. The counseling sessions didn't cost a dime.
There are a lot of "counselors" out there who are really credit card collectors in disguise, these two places aren't like that.
Thanks for the info. Then I guess that a simple to call to them won't hurt.
