Hi, everyone. I've been leasing a Nissan Pathfinder for the past 3 years. It's in my dad's name, and this time around, it will be my first time having to deal with a car on my own. I currently pay ~$430 per month for the Pathfinder.
Anyway, I have horrible credit (<500 scores). I'm looking to buy a 2006-2007 Jetta in the $12000-14000 range. I'm looking to buy from a regular dealership. Could this be accomplished with $5K or so down? If not, how much?
I make about $45K per year. I'd be looking to finance the balance over 36 months.
Any input would be appreciated.
