Due to a "series of unfortunate events", we have become $1600 behind on my dh's car. the car is in his name. His credit is not very good to begin with. I really don't see how it is possible to pay off the past due balance any time soon. My questions are: 1) Is there any sort of way to bounce back after a repo? 2)Are there any finance companies that help people in our situation when it is time to get another car? 3) Any advice or suggestions? Thanks so much

Yes, of course there are companies. Their terms and conditions are extremely unfavorable to the consumer.

yes there is.

Inofin is whom im currently with. 2 year loan, $7,400.00 finance. 80/week. paying 920 in interests over the course of the contract (providing my math is correct). allows you to get a car and re-build your credit at the same time.

thanks guys! I'm just really down in the dumps lately because of this stupid situation that we got ourselves in. It's really nice to know that there is still hope for our future

Peoples Credit ...which I believe is in about 15 states now ...they just really tightened up and now will only do 3 repos max ...used to be you could have as many as 6...now not all 6 repo candidates would qualify because odds are that one of those 6 was already peoples credit since no one who doesn't share a brain does more than 2 ...known in the industry as a " two-pow" have six repos ....you are a "six-pow" 4 repos ...??? anyone ?? anyone?? yup a "four-pow" Peeps (peoples credit) is a huge discounter ...sometimes more than 50/60% ... and their rates topped out at 39.99% thank god they do have a liberal advance policy or they would be able to hold all of that discount lol
