Marv- or anyone else in the business could you chime in please.

Will be financing a vehicle in oct/nov 3-5 months post bk7 discharge depending on date.

I dont want to waste inq by having a dealer toss my request out to numerous finance companies that are just not going to finance.

When I go in, I will know what i want to pay and what vehicle, but I dont want to step on any toes by going directly to the FI guy....now you guys know that my approval is not only dependant on my credit report since the bk, but also on the relationship the FI guy has with the lendors.

how do i know what type of relationship they have? can I ask? LOL

Heck I'd be willing to fly in and sign papers if it means i get a decent after bk rate, etc.... Locally, I only have toyota/ford dealer, and then 30 minutes away I have everything else.

IIB will be GMAC and credit acceptance

Thanks

on a face to face basis, I personally would be reticent in explaining my relationship with my lenders to a potential customer.

Sometimes it is unavoidable to shop a loan around.
