Full Version: Harassing Text Messages
CreditBoards > Financing > Automotive Financing
Upside
My co-worker sitting in the next office just receive a harassing text message from a car dealership in town that lists his cell as a "message contact" for some dude we dont know, who is apparantly behind in his payments. We (he) replied back with someone funny and sarcastic, and now they have replied even more rudely. Can he threaten this lady with something good...or should he just explain its not him, etc. Note, we prefer to the more 'fun' route if possible. Thanks.

There may be some message boards that instruct you to have fun with text messaging. I don't know how to do it, so I'm sorry I can't be of assistance.

Well smart ass (and this a Mod?), I obviously meant can I threaten the text-sender with something legal and or/threatening for the harassment.

But nevermind...we've lost interest anyway.

........And how exactly is this post related to the automotive financing forum? Grow up. you have way too much time on your hands to even want to bother with "playing" with text messaging back and forth to a dealer. Just my opinion

Marv was not being a smart ass. you may want to read the FDCPA to help find a way to stop the messages.
