WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW?
I bought my girlfriend a ML 55 mercedes, Paid cash
She was driving a Mazda 626 that was financed with BofA at 9.5 with a balloon of 7100.00 Due this month. They will refinance her at the same rate to finish out the loan. She of course doesn't want the mazda but my mother needs a car, recently seperated from 37 year marriage sad.gif Should I refinance on my own, let BofA keep the business at 9.5% on her credit or pay cash for it. My secondary goal is to build my score over 720 for a large Home Construction loan in a year. With no installment history it keeps my score lower.

However I did just secure a partial loan for a Harley for 10,600, does another small loan like this help or hurt?

I am not an expert on manipulating FICO scores by any means.

The BOA balloon contract is a walk away balloon contract?

MetalSpine:

walk away from that car! Ran an auction report on it. with the quoted miles it is not worth 7100 + whatever fees you may have to pay to buy the balloon out.

You can do better, as I estimate wholesale value with equipment and miles only to be roughly 5200.00.

I hope this helps
MetalSpine
Ok, I wil turn it in. She wants a camry or highlander. Guess I will go that route.
