Good afternoon everyone.
Quick question. I'm trying to pull up my reports on truecredit.com, however I keep getting the ICS "not enough information" so I can't view my reports. I called yesterday and spoke to a CSR I had difficulty understanding, but she told me to fax over a copy of license and a bank statement for verification. According to her it would take less than 6 hours to go active.
Anyway, I faxed over the stuff this morning. The bank statement was from a closed account, but it still had my name and address on it. Has anyone who has had to do this had trouble getting activated? It's still not working, but I don't want to call back again if they are a little slow. I'm more concerned that they received my fax than a timeframe on when I'm going live. I figured I'd shoot them an email, however regardless of what you write them, they just send you an automated message back with a copy of the FAQ from their website. Any others?

it was pretty quick for me. i faxed something, shortly thereafter, they emailed me saying it was illegible, i wrote back asking if i could scan it and send it as a jpeg, they said yes, i did and then they cleared me.
couldn't have been more than 2-4 hours at the most with all the going back and forth

I called back... "yeah your license is too dark." I don't see what's too dark about it, I even faxed it to myself and it printed out fine. Unless they want to see my gorgeous face with great detail, there's no reason they can't see it. I also wish they would have maybe told me that they couldn't read it instead of letting me guess? I included my email address and phone # in the letter the first time for such a reason. Re-faxing 2 more copies now, this better work. :-)

it looks like i also took the initiative and sent them the JPEG and it worked.

How convenient, I called shortly after 6 and received an email 5 minutes to 8 (when they close). "We still can't confirm your identity, please call back next week." I don't see what else they could possibly want considering I sent both driver's license and bank statement (ALL THEY ASKED FOR). Do they want my first-born? Anyone else have this much difficulty? I'm getting fed up.

I've been dealing with them since last Thursday. Had to fax the info twice because they didn't get it the first time. Today I got an e-mail:

I called in and it turns out that the credit report they are trying to compare to has my old address so I had to send a jpeg of an older bank statement with that address on it. Still waiting on a response. Maybe tomorrow.

They finally accepted mine yesterday after 4 faxes? I ended up sending around 10 copies of my driver's license, three the size of a 8.5x11 sheet of paper. When I asked about emailing a scan to them they kept denying it saying they don't allow that. At least on the scan it's easier to read.
