Got a denied letter in the mail from our credit union about refinancing our car. Were told too many current or past delinquencies to credit obligations.

Quite a few courtesy pays from them.

And bankruptcy.

It says they pulled DH's experian report...so I go and check it and NO BANKRUPTCY. Just like there has NEVER been a bankruptcy!!

I wanna know where the heck they got their info. I mean I know he probably wouldn't be approved to get it refinanced even with the other reasons but I can't figure out where they got that he has a bankruptcy.

any tradelines read IIB or similar?

No. I mean if they said IIB or he had filed bankruptcy I'd know about it.

Then you probably need to ask them if it is not evident on a creditor version of your husband's file from experian.
