Hi All! Well we were approved at USAA for $25,000 at 10% interest. So I thought I would try Patelco and see what they could do for us. Well Patelco came back with $20,000 at, Get This........................17.5% ohmy.gif rofl.gif stop.gif , YES you read that right 17.5%. So needless to say we will be going with USAA cool.gif . So now we just need to find the car that will work for our family. Thanks to everyone for all the great info!!!!

Congrats on the USAA loan approval. I refi'd my Dodge with them last year. Went from about 15.5% at Americredit to 6.94% with USAA. That knocked a full years worth of payments right off + USAA gave me a $6k MC at the same time the refi went thru.

ShyOne, You filed BK and were discharged within days of me as well. Also my EQ right now is 596, yours is 601. Can you share your story. I applied at USAA for an auto they declined. What's your report look like?

Congrats on the approval!!!

I can see the reason for the difference in rates:

*USAA pulls equifax, your best bureau
*Patelco pulls Experian...not your best smile.gif

You will be mega happy with USAA!!
