Experian NOT accepting written disputes anymore?

I sent in a dispute to experian via snail mail and I got the letter back "Forwarding order expired"

I check on their website and everything is pointing to doing it online or calling in. I have some documentation I want to send it to clear up an account. Help!!

That is what I have with the minor exception of the extended zip code. Did you send it Certified Mail Return receipt Requested (CM/RRR)?

 

I have never heard of such a response and I have been disputing right along. Perhaps it's some kind of weird stalling or diversionary tactic. Trans Union has done the "you don't need to use a credit repair service" letter thing to a lot of people.

Maybe the post office had previously investigated and did not feel the need to reinvestigage Experian's forwarding order?

 

Perhaps Experian gave the post office the wrong status date for their forwarding order? :roll: :evil:

If EX is so bad then it would seem to be their evil would trickle down and hurt some BIG people, ie: Celebrities, Politicians, and Biz Folk.

 

Why is it that VIP (important people) aren't in the open about this?

 

EX is evil but are they only evil to average people? Not saying there are no extraordinary people in here, but not many billionaires are on CB, albeit false for me to say I haven't chatted w/a few millionaires here :wink:

 

 

Has anyone ever seen any record of this? Any record of a land developer who had to do a PG where EX was pulled and prevented investors from giving him cash? Any celebs turned down for a HI loan when they need a tennis court or even an Aston Martin?

 

Any consumer-friendly politicians had fake info, aliases, or multiple SS#'s on EXperian?

Caramel: you would be surprised at the # of celebs and people of notoriety who have substantial blemishes on their credit files.

 

In my business, it is rather common to deal with sports and Local TV personalities when they buy a car.

 

Their "name" and a sufficiently large down payment always gets them done, but not always at the best rates.

 

Their accountants handle everything is my general experience when it comes to autos.

I did note that my original letter in July went to the POB 9595 address.

I received an updated report today that was sent by EX on Sept. 13th. It shows the PO Box 9701 that's listed above.
